We was made to feel so welcome when we first arrived by George. The locals of the pub made us feel like part of their community, absolutely loved the friendliness of this place, will definitely be returning ❤️

The Ivy had a lovely charm - think old beams and lots of nooks and crannies. The staff went above and beyond and even went to the shops to buy dairy free milk for us, when discovering we were both vegan. The local band and atmosphere was amazing.

We stayed at The Ivy because it's close to Cadwell park, we arrived late only to find the kitchen closed and the pub really busy due to a quiz night being held. Sharon, at the bar suggested ordering Chinese food from the take away next door and she would set us up a table in " the snug "...so we did and had a great evening, Sharon was rushed off her feet, but she couldn't have been more helpful. A great atmosphere in the pub and very friendly and relaxed locals. The room was all it needed to be, clean and comfy, we will definitely return.

Very friendly reception. Very comfortable beds. Lovely en-suite. Ideal location for us and parking in car park just over the road.
