Awesome Hotel lots of choices around the hotel to dine, indoors outdoors, upstairs, little nooks, like a hallway, all very well.presented....Meals were well.presented and my Crispy Skin Salmon was THE best.... As was hubbies steak.. Room had tea making facilities, towels, shampoo's soap...and biscuits.....great price at $80p.n (paid $115) in Gundagai, nothing but towels shampoo n soap..not even a glass to have water in overnight...just paper cups (leaked) in community area.... In a great spot opposite the water, sadly as we were running behind in our trip due to a breakdown we didn't get to check out the area.. would love to go back soon.. Just remember you are at A PUB so that could mean MUSIC at anytime, so make sure you allow for that....it can be heard in the rooms...

Because of the price I was expecting the room to hear all noises BUT was pleasantly surprised that it was not too bad at all. Mind you, I didn't open the window because of street noise. Saturday, my first night I had a meal which I enjoyed very much. Salmon on brown rice + I ordered the potato salad - delighted that the mayo was gluten free. On Monday night I was pleasantly surprised that there was a special on where I could have grilled fish with vegies - it was delicious. Again the sauce was GF. Staff from when I first arrived up until I left on Tuesday morning were delightful & helpful (& happy). No stairs to rooms - a lift - to my delight. one floor. Wow! I rarely recommend a place to stay because most are much of a muchness - but I can highly recommend the Bayview at Woy Woy - Old but not ancient. Clean, shared bathrooms conveniently located to all rooms. Great value for money! Impressive indeed. On Saturday night it was ALIVE! lots of people & laughter & singing. A feel good place.
