The lodge was the first one on site so super easy to find with own reserved parking. The owners had left dog treats, bowls and blankets (so we could cover the furniture). The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for a short break. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are modern, kitchen had everything and included an air fryer which was a bonus! The key box was simple to use. We did trip the electricity as we had too many appliances on at once but the warden came straight away and sorted it out. Siobhan and Max were available to us for any other help we needed.

I loved that the property had everything you could possibly need already there for you! was perfect for a little getaway. There was a slight bin smell outside the property at times but wasn’t too bad. I also feel like the outside seating area could have been brushed down before we got there but didn’t bother us too much. Other than those small things, everything was perfect!

The lodge is easily 5 star standard, very well maintained and convenient for parking. Woodhall Spa shops are just down the road, there are local walks and attractions such as the Kinema in the Woods. Locals are very friendly and welcoming. There is a good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as boutique shops and the regular supermarkets such as Sainsburys and Morrison Local. Our hosts have done an exceptional job in making us welcome and ensuring a relaxing stay. There is alot of history attached to the RAF in the area, so the lodge would be perfect for anyone wanting to use it as a base for exploring the past. Also the National Golf Centre is nearby, so the lodge is ideal for golf-related stays.
