Beautifully appointed. Amazingly comfortable beds. Little extras like lovely shampoo and conditioner, a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival, a ready to go fire pit etc. Owner even drove us to train station the next morning. Very quiet and idyllic location.

The property was perfect for us coming from Melbourne for dinner at a restaurant in Woodend and not wanting to drive back to Melbourne after it !

Everything was great but something that was not mentioned in the advertisement was that the owners live right next door and the accommodation is like a granny flat attached to the main house. It didn't change much just that its more suitable for families trying to have a quiet time whereas we planned a catchup with friends.
