Gafyn “A wonderful Exmoor New Year's Eve.”

We were there for New Year's Eve and, having booked for seven of us, was slightly nervous whether they would like it. I needn't have worried. A beautiful home with an overall rustic feel and a lovely modern kitchen, in a pretty little village set in stunning countryside. Richard met us there to go over some of the features and Emma came down later with extra towels. When I asked for some champagne flutes to toast the New Year, Emma happily bought some over. Beds were super comfortable and the whole house was nice and warm. There is also a handy utility room where you can dry wet gear and a large porch for the taking off of lots of muddy boots. A great base to discover the beauty of Exmoor.

Beautiful cottage in a tranquil location. The cottage was very well equipped - a real home from home - it had everything in it that we needed. The hosts were very responsive on text and we even had home baked goodies left for us which was a lovely touch. The area is stunning so pretty and peaceful. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back

Everything…. Could not fault one thing! It was an amazing experience, one with history in the Second World War. Beautiful comfortable home which had everything you needed, nothing was spared. Even had a home made cake and bread made for us and, and a bottle of a beautiful Rose +. Thank you Emma, you were an amazing host. Our trip to Withypool will be remembered with warmth and enthusiasm to visit again.

Location excellent, beautiful and comfortable. Right near a great local pub. Plenty of parking. Lots of character and charm, hosts were so caring and left some lovely treats.
