Room 2 was a lovely double room. The bathroom was very large with a big walk in shower. All the decor was very nice and the toiletries smelt good! We ate in the restaurant. The food was excellent and served timely.

The location was in the countryside and lovely and peaceful. It was about 15min drive into Bowness. The breakfast choice was really good, I had the eggs benedict which were cooked perfectly. Our room was nice and clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom had a large shower. The evening meals all looked excellent, we had a roast beef dinner that was really good and later, a tasty cheese board to accompany the wine as we relaxed in front of the wood burner. The staff were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Fantastic place, fantastic staff. What's not to like? If you're looking for a country pub\hotel vibe, smart casual and relaxed atmosphere book with confidence, you won't be disappointed.
