From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and made to feel very welcome. We were shown our room by a lovely man, who made sure we were happy with everything before leaving. The room was super. A HUGE bed and so comfy! Comfy pillows too! Facilities were great. Lovely and clean. We only had one course for our evening meal - the food was delicious. Breakfast did not fail either. Everything set out beautifully and tasted delicious. In the evening the pub was very busy with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Im not sure if he was the owner/manager, but again we were really pleased to find that we'd been reserved a little nook, which was lovely and cosy, but provided enough space for our labrador. All in all, a lovely stay - thank you very much for making it so enjoyable.

The room was very spacious & comfortable with 2 armchairs. The breakfasts were good and substantial as we're the evening meals. One thing which was a big plus was the fresh milk in the fridge for morning tea or coffee.
