This is a fabulous little cottage with everything you want for a comfortable stay. There are so many cottage characters, and it is so quiet. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The cottage was lovely, very roomy and great location. Lounge furniture could have been a little more up to date but we found it comfortable so just being picky really. Very clean and master bed really comfortable, best night sleep I’ve had in ages. Would definitely stay again.

Location was perfect- even for us coming without a car. 7 minutes walk to the train station. Restaurants within the area. Sainsbury can be accessed across the street. Yet somehow, it’s in a quiet street. We had rain every day on our stay, which made us stay inside more than we had planned- but all turned out great as the cottage is so cosy and had everything we needed. From basic cooking ingredients to cleaning materials- it was provided. We were able to cook meals, enjoy the pouring rain, whilst staying warm inside. The beds were comfortable and the house is spacious! Very cottagecore, and exactly what I had wanted. It was just perfect for staying in and spending time and making memories with family.

Wonderful proximity to Windermere shops and attractions, quiet, reasonably equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Lots of info inside about local area, restaurants etc.
