Communication with the manager of Bonny Brae was fantastic, she was so helpful and friendly throughout our stay too. The location is excellent lots of nice cafes, shops and bars on the doorstep plus Ambelside and Bowness in close proximity.

Very clean and cosy room, with attention to detail, nicely decorated. Really felt as a home away from home. Brittany our host was lovely and was very approachable if we had any questions or little problems we wanted help with. The location is super practical: restaurants, shops and the bus/train station are all within walking distance. Particularly ideal if your travel to the Lake District without a car like us. Nice little extra is that the guest house allows you to use BBC iPlayer on the television. We really enjoyed watching crime/dramaseries on demand in the evening, when returning from our walks in the beautiful countryside. We would be very happy to stay here again.
