Check-in is strictly from 15:00 to 19:00. The Hideaway At Windermere requests that all guests provide an expected arrival time at the time of booking.Arrivals after 19:00 will be treated as a no-show and will be charged in full, as per cancellation policy.Please note that The Hideaway has a strict non-smoking policy. Guests will be asked to vacate the room immediately if evidence of smoking is found, and a minimum charge of GBP 200.00 will be applied to the credit/debit card used to make the reservation, to cover all additional cleaning and dry cleaning costs.Bookings for 3 rooms or more cannot be accepted.Please note, there is no lift at the property, and as a result it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay and very homely. The bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Richard and his staff were very welcoming and extremely hard working. The croissants given out at breakfast were a real added bonus. Thank you for making my first visit to the Lakes a very enjoyable one and I would love to stay at the Hideaway again, when I next visit.

Everything was perfect , from the hospitality of the staff , impeccable cleanliness, lovely rooms with a fabulous bed . The location was ideal and the facilities embraced every eventuality. Breakfast was a delight .
