The property has an award-winning Gremillet champagne for GBP 30, and its own Rum Doodle Prosecco at GBP 15, plus Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc at GBP 10, fresh flowers from GBP 30, and red silk rose petals can be scattered across a bed for GBP 10. Local handmade chocolates from Huttons of Bowness from GBP 10 can be sourced too. Please just call or email to arrange any requests for special occasions.Rooms only cater for 2 persons and children only above the age of 12 are only permittedPlease inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Half way between Windermere and in other direction, Bowness on Windermere, so short walk to either. Quality ingredients and very good breakfast. Friendly hosts. Room 7 had plenty of room. Robes in room.

This was our second stay at the Rum Doodle and we loved it just as much this time as we did our first.. The facilities and breakfast are great and extremely good value for money. Location is also great and is only a short walk / taxi ride to Windermere and Bowness. Staff are so welcoming too and cannot do enough to help.
