Situated in the centre of Windermere village, only 2 minutes walk from Windermere Train station and 20 minutes walk from Lake Windermere. Lingmoor offers modern en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi and a central location for exploring the beautiful Lake District.
Built in 1854, the family-run Lingmoor maintains its traditional charm, and all rooms have a smart TV, generously stocked hospitality trays and hairdryers. No Parking available onsite due to the incredibly central location but there is parking very close by.
Windermere has a broad choice of pubs and restaurants all within walking distance.
There are various hiking and cycling routes nearby. Lake Windermere offers boating trips and cruises, and The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is only a 20-minute walk away, or 5 minutes by bus. Beatrix Potter's house 'Hill Top' is only 4.5 miles away from the guest house.

Good location not far to walk from train station, easy to gain access when I arrived, good pubs and places to eat with coop and Sainsbury's in vacinity. Good bus services for all over lake district.

Overall a nice little property, small room and very small on-suite toilet and shower but it did me and my son just fine. Would stay again without any issues.

It was a really lovely stay. The location is extremely convenient to the train station and town center, and Ruth was brilliant throughout the stay and even let us check in early when we arrived sooner than we thought we would!
