Have stayed at Kirkwood before and it is now our 'go to' place when staying in Windermere. Convenient position, nice room and breakfast. Also much appreciated the EV charger. Nice quiet area with very welcoming hosts.

Really clean room and comfortable bed. Well heated and cosy. Lovely soap and body wash. Friendly greeting and helpful local information given. Good location.

Paula was lovely, made us amazing breakfast, gave us all the info we needed for the day and was a very warm host. Was lovely to meet Richard too. The room was cozy and the view from the window was beautiful. The location was also close to all the important attractions, 10mins drive to Ambleside, 5min to Bowness and Windermere.
