We were provided with everything you could need (utilities, kitchen utensils etc) as well as warm home baked muffins on arrival. The location is perfect for visiting Windermere. It took us 5minutes on the bus or a 10/15min walk to get to Windermere or down to the water in Bowness. The gentleman who greater us on arrival gave us a walm welcome and recommended loads of brilliant places to visit - our favourite was “Hole in t’ Wall” in Bowness (a lovely cosy pub est. 1612). From the property we could easily get buses to all corners of the Lakes and/or Ferries up to Ambelside, which is a beautiful little village. We will absolutely be coming back in the future.

Superb location, we walked into Windemere and Bowness, great to leave the car and walk. Quiet cottage with all the necessary equipment. Lovely cakes on arrival. Thanks for a great weekend.
