It is so cosy and clean, we've got everything that we needed and the coffee machine was a bonus. The location was great and it is a walking distance to the lake. We also love how responsive and lovely the owner was.

Love a “self check in” Key in a lockbox outside the front door with combination sent through nice and easy. Gorgeous property in quiet area, perfectly placed for the adventures we had planned. We are waterfall lovers and managed to visit several during our stay including High force, Aira Force and Scale Force, we also enjoyed a ferry ride to Ambleside from Bowness (just a five min drive to the lake). Our dogs could travel for free on the boat and was a great first experience. Each evening brought comfort and warmth within the lodge and our dogs settled nicely. Would love to come back!
