The property was lovely, very modern yet homely, had all the necessary appliances and stuff for the dogs. The area was really quiet and there is a shop down the road which was a plus. It was in walking distance of Windermere main bars and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the smart tvs so was easier to watch programmes on apps. The house was nice and clean and was really comfortable. The walls are also quite thick so didn’t hear any noise which was nice.

Location is less than 10 minute walk into the main high street of Windermere. You can cut across the park at the end of the road. Exceptional location. Big advantage of having it's own driveway. The decor and presentation is outstanding and all credit to the owner who has paid special attention to the finishing touches making this a very special stay. The house boasts all the facilities to dine in and we also ate out in some of the lovely pubs on Windermere high street . Will definitely be booking Ananda House again as our base to tour the Lake District. Simply outstanding.

The house was well set up with many nice touches. It was peaceful & in general had everything that was needed for our stay. The parking on the drive was a plus.
