Got exactly what I expected, and more. Very friendly and responsive host, clean and comfy room, well-equipped with everything you'd expect. It is in a great location (less than 10 mins walk from the train station and main bus stop, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby) and you can start some great walks literally from the doorstep. The ensuite is nice and has a good shower. Comfortable chairs and bed. Everything about it is perfect for people who want a nice play to stay the nights and evenings while going on walks or doing other activities in the day.

I loved it at Abacus house. A beautiful place, delightful and very helpful hosts. Easy access to town and trains. An easy walk or bus to the lake. A very peaceful area. Would def stay here again.

Clean room and ensuite. You could open the windows. Excellent quality bedding. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance from Bowness. An amazing park at the end of the road.
