We booked this as we were just “passing through” but it was so lovely we might well come back to stay longer. The room was lovely and spacious with a large comfy bed with good bedding. Bath and shower were great with lovely soaps etc. exceptional breakfast with high quality food and large selection. Very good restaurant - not just the usual “pub grub”. Much better. Best of all though were the staff. They were all just lovely. Very relaxed, perfect level of service and interest in us - not cloying or obsequious, or going through the motions - they appeared genuinely interested in their guests and were just kind and lovely. They made the stay just lovely - the atmosphere at The Fox was just great.

Literally the loveliest staff of anywhere I've ever been. Made sure we were well taken care of in every way. Even on a busy Easter weekend. And a massive delicious breakfast to boot! Incredible gem of a place.
