Very helpful host. Excellent location. Parking on site. Immaculate, pretty cottage. Lovely patio. Both bedrooms ensuite (note one of these has small, low toilet)

We only live 10 miles away but we’re escaping our daughter’s 30th birthday party, who had eleven guests staying in all our bedrooms. Erm, OK, call us cowards but… So, we want somewhere close to Winchester that was clean and tidy. But we were delighted by what we found - a truly classy, lovely cottage, with all you could ask for, within walking distance of the cathedral and all the delights of Winchester. And a lovely garden that gently wound down through cascades of beautifully-kept terraces to the river. Fantastic! And it had off-street parking for our car (although we opted for our little Mini Cooper, as opposed to our Aston Martin - a wise choice, as it happens, as a long car might have been tricky).

Everything, lovely character building and finished to a very high standard. Beds were very comfortable and the towels were the softest we had ever had.
