Hidden Jungle Village is a small 3 Bedroom Accomodation right in the nature. You hear the sounds of Birds, Geckos and other animals, which is a great experience. I stayed there 2 nights to discover Wilpattu National Park which is around 30 min. away. The Host Sempath and his wife are very welcoming and kind. I had freshly cooked and very tasty Sri Lankan dinner for an affordable price also. Would really recommend for those who are traveling on a budget.

Staying at Hidden Jungle is the perfect place to be one with nature! Yes the accommodation is basic but that’s what it should be when in the jungle! If you want to go to sleep to the croak of frogs and the odd glimpse of a mongoose and be woken up with the chorus of birds and sunlight filtering through the thatched roof this stay is for you! The beds are super comfy with mosquito nets so you are safe from any biters! The whole building was super clean and tidy! There is a lake 5 minutes away which is a beautiful spot for all kinds of exotic birds! The hosts are very attentive and very kind people who made our stay just that little bit extra special! They also do offer a private safari to Wilpattu, we did not know this when we booked ours, however for people without their own transport (the location is approx 15kn away from the entrance so we had to drive ourselves to the park) this would be a good way to visit the park. Thank you very much Sampath we had a beautiful stay and would happily stay again!

Loved that it was hidden in the jungle! Basic accommodation but loved the location, tranquility and sounds of surrounding nature. Food was lovely. Sampath and his wife, Ajanta, were the perfect hosts and so helpful. He organised our safari, helped us with a visit to the doctor, took us fishing at the nearby lake and his son came to do a karaoke one night. All very enjoyable and loved Wilpattu NP. An unforgettable experience. My kids loved the frogs!

Sampath and his wife were truly amazing hosts, catering for our every need. Location was fantastic, bed was very comfortable. It’s a little primitive but that’s why I chose it - met my expectation as a hidden jungle retreat! The food served was excellent. I really enjoyed our stay.
