It’s a lovely place to slow down, unwind, and enjoy a peaceful setting. The surroundings are calm and well-suited for relaxation, and for the most part, our stay was very pleasant. However, our first night was extremely disappointing. A conference group was hosting a party that continued into the early hours of the morning, with very loud music and disruptive behaviour throughout the corridors and grounds. Unfortunately, there seemed to be little consideration for other guests, and it made it impossible for us to sleep. After raising the issue around 11 pm, the staff did relocate us to a different room around midnight, which we appreciated. However, it was surprising that the noise could not be addressed or managed earlier. The remaining two nights of our stay were peaceful and much more in line with what we had expected. We had initially considered this venue as a potential location for hosting regular, quiet business meetings and networking events, but due to this experience, we have decided to look elsewhere. Although we were disappointed with our first night, I do want to highlight how excellent the service was throughout our stay. The staff were consistently kind, professional, polite, and genuinely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with outstanding service, and the rooms were kept very clean. The housekeeping team were friendly and accommodating, and the reception staff—especially the two gentlemen we spoke with—were attentive and apologetic, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel with a relaxing atmosphere, but better management of late-night events would significantly improve the guest experience.

Beds were wide and comfortable, and we had a very good night's sleep. Air conditioner worked flawlessly and cooled the room within minutes. Staff was very friendly and location of the accommodation was excellent – right on the shore of a beautiful lake. Additionally, we saw a lovely, chubby hedgehog in front of the building. Our Jack Russell Terrier tried to make friends with it, but the friendship was lost in translation 😄 All in all, we highly recommend this place – great location and scenery + wonderful people!
