The bed was clean. The room was dusty. The chair had torn fabric. the bathroom was clean. The room was booked a queen room. There was a queen bed but the room was only about 12x12.

Place was clean. Guy told me its where his family stays during their trips, so make sure to book the room with the kitchenette as they keep it clean. Also no washing machine or dryer.

Very convenient location for those intending to visit Cape Breton and Cabot Trail. The owner/manager was super friendly and very accommodating to some special requests we had and also always available when we had a question. I saw some not very positive reviews on google which scared us before arrival, but honestly those reviews did not reflect our experience at all. Of course if you expect a 5 star experience from a three star motel, then of course you would be deceived. But for a three star motel and the price, it was just the perfect value for money.
