Location was great, handy for Whitby centre. Room had everything we needed for a short break.

Met at the door and helped with parking and baggage to room. Very hot weekend but a large fan was running to cool room which was used both nights. Owner couldn't have been more helpful. Room was spacious and clean with good supply of toiletries, towels and drink making facilities. Short walk to Station area of Whitby and opposite park. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Stayed at Rylstone Mere for a short break and I would definitely recommend it. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. It’s a 5min walk into the centre down a gentle slope, my husband struggles with hills due to his mobility but this was no issue. The host could not be more accommodating, she was on hand to greet us on arrival and we were able to book in straight away. We had taken a bottle of wine with us for the room and when she noticed we had she gave us some glasses and brought us an ice bag for the room to keep it cold. Will definitely return
