Please note that check-in outside of normal hours can only be organised by prior arrangement.Please note that there are several flights of stone steps to access the house from the street and 2 flights of stairs to access the rooms from the hall. Also, the walk to and from town is via a steep slope. Highgate House may therefore not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The property is beautiful as was my room. The decor and furnishings were very tasteful and everything was crisp and clean. The breakfast tray was a tasty delight every morning delivered by the ever cheerful and charming hosts. Highgate House is really well situated....an all round delight.

The property was absolutely stunning. It felt grand and beautiful whilst remaining homey. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. Breakfast in bed was a real treat. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

The room was huge, the location is excellent, high level of comfort with breakfast delivered to our lounge room. Very friendly, helpful hosts. The bed is very comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud.
