Not bad like some reviews suggested - overall clean, good location just minutes from the sea, with facility for parking (albeit pre-paid and needs organising 24h in advance). Feels secure. Good shower. Top tip - drop your bags at the room and then try parking for free on Chubb Hill Road - we managed free parking for 3 days, if not then paid car parks are available nearby.

The location was excellent and the instructions for entering the room were clear and easy and much better than needing to carry a key around Whitby. The room had all amenities that were needed- kettle, hairdryer etc. The price was very good for a 2 night stay.
