A quiet place to stay with very little noise inside or outside the building. 15 - 20 mins walk to town centre. Less than 5 mins from the sea front. The room was cosy and tastefully decorated with an en suite shower room. Bed is sited partially under a dormer window making sitting up in bed a little awkward for one of us - note this was only a minor quibble and added to the quirkiness of what is Whitby! Would definitely stay here again.

Communication from Mags & Paul, the owners was excellent. The room was of a high standard & very clean. They went above & beyond. It was located in a great place & a quiet area.

Lovely room in a nice location, with just about everything you might need. Not too far to walk from the centre. A parking permit is provided on arrival just needing your dates putting in. Although, if your arrival is a nearer 5pm, you can get a free parking card to cover the rest of that day, so your permit period could have started the next morning. I didn't realise this until after it was left in the car! A note explaining this in advance might have been useful. Of course this wouldn't affect anyone arriving there much earlier.
