We were doing the Coast to Coast Walk and stayed here for the night. Excellent and delicious evening meal and breakfast. Lovely room. Met the owners in the morning who were very friendly. They have recently taken over this hotel and are doing it up room by room. The meals were excellent including the packed lunch they provided for our walk the following day.

The location is stunning, a real hidden gem. Beautiful food (dinner & breafast) Very comfortable room with the lovely added extras (Taylor’s coffee, bottled water) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We’ll see you all again soon.
