Plenty of hot water and decent shower, comfy beds and quiet for a good nights sleep, breakfast was exceptional, dinner better than your average pub grub and they made our dog very welcome.

The building was probably over 150 years old and in need of renovation but full of character, lovely area steeped in history. Staff were great young and helpful, especially the lovely lady who served us a breakfast with a smile. They are trying their best to run a hotel/ restaurant/bar and do work on a very old house at the same time so expect some noise.

Breakfast & Dinner were excellent. Staff very attentive & helpful.
