The location was fantastic the property was nice . Our only issues were the shower , we couldn’t adjust the temperature and the heating thermostat was hive and every time we left the property , on return the property was cold and the heating off !!!

A truly magical place with tasteful decor and erudite trimmings. The beautiful Georgian window seat overlooking the White Horse was much in demand. Whitby is a sight for sore eyes whatever the weather - and we got the full smorgasbord of weather, including ferocious storms and days of unbroken sunshine where the bay glittered and shone like jewelled stone. Can't wait to come back to Book House in the summer. PS: bus trips to York and Robin Hood's Bay highly recommended - the North York Moors are truly ravishing from the top deck (all for £4 return!)

The location was fab.The house was well decorated and comfortable and very well equipped.The beds were very comfortable.
