The alternative pub stepped up when their sister pub was flooded. They could not have done more for us as my wife was unwell over the weekend too.

We booked one night at the last minute. It was a lovely stay. No complaints at all. Fire alarm went off at 2.30 am. It turned out to be a false alarm. A bit annoying, but it proved that the safety system worked. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will come back again, for a longer stay.
