Really modern and clean but also a cosy country pub with friendly helpful staff. A nice change from big hotel chains but every time I’ve visited the rooms are immaculate and the food homemade

The location was ideal as our daughter lives in the area. Breakfast, as usual, was included in the price and was exceptional with very pleasant service. The gentleman that served us was very accommodating and remembered us from last time we stayed for which we thank him.

Very pleasant stay rooms clean and comfortable , evening meal and breakfast excellent. Staff were the politest people I've ever come across on my travels. Keep up the good work Canal in. I will most definitely stay there again
