This was our third stay with our greyhound at Silk Hill Stables and we would not hesitate to return again. A lovely rural location with walks from the door; a great base from which to explore the High Peak; and a wonderful, properly dog-friendly cottage to relax in at the end of the day. Thanks, Liz!

Great cottage on a quiet lane away from the main roads and traffic, within easy reach of the town. Dog friendly with walks from the cottage. Greeted on arrival by a lovely host/owner who couldn't have been more obliging. Wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Very dog friendly went with 2, 1 sighthound who loved his runs in the enclosed ménage,pubs walkable, the Cock was very dog friendly & plenty of space for our two dogs, recommend booking for Sunday lunch, we ate in the Navigator which was also dog friendly, had a lovely day out in Lyme Park, overall a pleasant few days
