It was nice and central to Whakatane township, and the Motel was clean and tidy, and our room was very spacious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The cafe on site was very nice. We enjoyed a yummy cooked breakfast there. 1950's Restaurant, where we had dinner, was within walking distance, which was handy.

The location is ideal, it is within walking distance of the town centre and to restaurants and the wharf area. The room was clean and suited our purposes for the two nights we stayed. The Cafe was really great, good food and friendly helpful staff.
