“Fantastic location and amazing hosts”

Spectacular stay, we loved every minute of it. The building was surrounded by natural beauty, we walked a lot in nature and saw various animals. My little boy spotted a dear and an owl, he absolutely loved it. The highlight of the trip was the amazing and freshly prepared breakfast from fruit and veg from the garden, or the local farms. Hilda and Patrick were so warm and welcoming, they created a fantastic family memory for us and we are definitely planning to come back and visit again!

This place is a little gem sitting in the quiet country side. For those visiting Sint Sixtus or In De Vrede to experience the world famous Westvleteren beer, this is THE place to stay. You can walk to the cafe in about 10-15 minutes so you don’t have to worry about driving. It has a quiet and relaxing environment. The breakfast was the real learning experience. The host makes her own jams, honey and yogurt, amongst other things. It was a wonderful experience and will stay there again when we return.
