The house rental was a much better option for us than separate hotel rooms. We enjoyed the charm of the older home, the natural/original wood floors and what looked like the original sink in the kitchen. The home was well-stocked with not only cookware and tableware, but there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets, and thoughtful touches like guest baskets for forgotten items that included not only toiletries in the bathrooms but also coffee pods and tea bags in the kitchen - which was fortunate as I forgot tea bags!
