A nearly perfect wellness stay with spacious, beautiful rooms (but very hard mattresses), outstanding cleanliness and a very cozy and elegant atmosphere, including a lovely lounge area with fireplace — perfect for relaxing with drinks and a book. Service was in the restaurant excellent — very caring staff and we even got the same perfect table every time. Dinner was amazing: if there was no vegan main / dessert on the buffet, the kitchen prepared high quality dishes, including desserts, so you don’t feel like you’re missing out. Breakfast was very good (homemade vegan spreads like hummus/aubergine cream), but even if amazing for two days, at day 3 I did notice the limited vegan variety: there are no vegan hot dishes, while many non-vegan warm options exist. Beautiful spa with multiple saunas and relaxation zones, and beside Saturday it was never crowded - and after 6 pm also guaranteed without children (but you can still the noises from the pool area). However, Aufguss sessions are only 3x per day — fine on weekdays, but weekends would benefit from more (not everyone who wanted could participate). Complimentary steam-room peelings were offered 2x/day but are limited (around 12 portions which go quickly on the weekend).

Very spacious room, with a wonderful view of the mountain. It was very quiet and comfy — nice bedding, mattress, and pillows. The bathroom is big, with both a shower and a bath. The room was spotless, too. Amazing breakfast - with many choices, and an afternoon coffee hour was a nice touch. It was Christmas time, so the fireplaces were lit, creating a very cozy vibe. Location is quite nice - even though in Werfenweng, there are no facilities such as a supermarket, pharmacy, or a post office, still from the hotel you can go to the lift and start skiing in just 5 min.

Incredible hotel. Stunning views, amazing variety for breakfast. Comfortable rooms and stunning decor everywhere - from the lobby, the sauna to the restaurant. There is a decently priced restaurant a few meters away which is definitely a gem - a wooden cabin with modern spin on traditional food. I would recommend having a car to move around if you don’t want to just stay in the hotel - there’s a small town around 15-20 minute drive!
