Staffed mainly by the local villagers who have a majority stake in the hotel making for an authentic experience. Veronica gets a special mention for her attention to detail for the guests and smooth running of the hotel. Food is fabulous and the orpen gate around the corner.

Exceptional. What a find. Joe and his team made us feel so welcome. We stayed here last year and it was good but this time it’s even better and we can’t fault anything. The location is superb and just 2 minutes from Orpen Gate. The food and service rivalled any 5 star hotel and restaurant anywhere in the world. The rooms are clean, spacious with beautiful crisp linen and very comfortable. This is a superb find and thoroughly recommended.

Super friendly, caring and flexible stuff made us feel very welcome. Furniture and decoration is brand new and very stylish. 1 minute drive from the Orpen gate.
