The hotel is fortunate enough to have the largest city centre car park in Wells. However, the spaces are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.Please note that our restaurant can get busy and booking is advisable.Due to the age and construction of the property there is no lift access to higher floors- if this is an issue please contact the hotel who will be happy to assist you in allocating the right room for your needs.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Lovely staff, pleasant room and very good bar and dining area. Food was great and made all the more enjoyable by eating outside in the sun within the hotel's own garden by the cathedral grounds.. The location was superb for wandering around Wells and the fact it had its own carpark was a bonus for us.

The restaurant decor and bar were lovely. The sunday lunch was the best hotel lunch we have had. Superior room spacious, quiet & comfortable Staff were professional & friendly

We stayed in room 40 and the room was a great size but the wardrobe didn’t have handles on it, to close it we had to hit it hard at the top. The bathroom really does need a refurbishment, the silicon is showings its age and mould in places and at the front the bottom of the bath panel it looks really shabby
