The location is a bit further from the city center, it was quiet. Ideally, you should rent a scooter. It's a nice family, the hosts were very kind, they even prepared a welcome drink for us. Bed was clean, there was a terrace and kitchen we could use.

Beautiful family owner and lovely 2 bedroom house. Very close to Weligama and merissa, if you travel by car. Very quiet and peaceful area village.

Great place ! Very comfortable, one of the only cool spots with aircon so it was great in the sri lankan heat The family that runs the place are amazing. Always available and always accommodating They serve homemade food, available at all times The room and bed was extremely comfy, and they even had hot water. The kitchen facilities were also great Definitely recommend

We have reviewed several villas/rooms in Weligama, this villa is the best variant we have seen for these price and this quality. Accommodation is completely new (bathroom, room, kitchen, terrace). There is a small kitchen where you have everything necessary for cooking. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric cooker and small oven. The room has air conditioning, ventilator. All doors and windows are tightly closed in the room, so you don’t expect any small guests (insects, lizards), you are in safe :) Hosts are so warm and friendly. I highly recommend Flower Shade Villa.
