Our stay at Makweti was great. Joseph was a very knowledgable and friendly guide, and the game drives were excellent. We saw four of the Big Five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion) during our four day stay, and many other species, including a cheetah from afar. Welgevonden is a beautiful part of the Waterberg, with an interesting variety of landscapes. Our hosts Byron, Jacqui and Josheph went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. All meals were delicious, and the facilities were excellent.

Makweti Lodge met all of our expectations. The facilities , game drives, food and unbelievable staff are amazing. We were their to celebrate our anniversary and the staff went the extra mile to make it a memorable.

The accommodation has place for up to 10 people in 5 different houses. With an extra spacious main house and lobby, the Makweti is the perfect place for a peace of mind. Extremely quiet, no children and with no fence around the premises, the bush is always nearby. Couldn't whish a better place to relax and reset from the day to day (technology-based) life. I will be back. The staff is excellent,
