Piggery Cottage is in a beautiful, peaceful location and is so cozy! We were made to feel very welcome by Lorna who owns the cottage and lives next door, we received a welcome basket on arrival with some wine, chocolate and home baked goodies. We had everything we needed and the cottage was clean and just so lovely. We loved walking past the fields and seeing the cows and sheep and Blossom the pony. It’s only a short drive to Wigton which has supermarkets and a few takeaways, it’s a 20 minute drive to the sea at Allenby, and a nice drive to the Lake District.
