Battunga cottages are a beautiful set of cottages just on the edge of Watervale, on a lovely property. We woke to kookaburras laughing! (amongst the other birds and kangaroos) It was a cosy cottage with a warm fire and heating. The weather was a bit wet and rainy as expected in winter! We however were toasty inside enjoying lovely wine and local produce. The provisions were very generous (loved the warm baked bread!) and the cottage was very comfortable. A great place for a get away weekend and to enjoy the surrounding Clare Valley .

Kerry’s welcome was warm and the provisions were beyond our expectation. Walking up the back of the property in the natural settings was bird and fauna rich.

Kerry’s welcome with fresh baked bread and generous food provided as part of the experience. The property was beautiful with the walk to the top for views across the Clare Valley a highlight. A pretty delightful Clare stay!

Perfect location for our time in the Clare Valley. The outlook was lovely and we saw lots of kangaroos. The cottage was very comfortable, the wood fire made it very cosy and the breakfast was amazing.
