Shortly before our arrival, we were informed that there had been a double booking and that our accommodation had already been assigned. This was, of course, frustrating, as it is not easy to find an alternative just ten minutes before arrival, especially around the holidays and when you are planning a braai and have already bought all the supplies. The owner was very kind and offered us her private home instead. After the initial shock, our stay was wonderful. The property is very well maintained and picturesquely located directly on the river. The house was excellent, the braai facilities were great, and the hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The quietness, the sound of the river , it felt like home , the house was soo clean, comfortable and had everything needed for cooking .
