Beautifully presented cottage, and immaculately clean too. Very well fitted out with all the necessities and decorated very tastefully but still had a lot of character, felt very homely. The view each morning from the kitchen/lounge windows was lovely and the location was superb for all the local amenities. The extensive information packs were very useful and we were greeted warmly everywhere we visited in the town itself. As the cottage was so close to the train station, we enjoyed a day on the steam trains very much. If you are a book lover, they have a fabulous book exchange set up near the station too. The host, Ray was very helpful and friendly and left us a wonderful welcome pack for our arrival with a few lovely local treats in.

The cleanest holiday home I’ve stayed in. The hosts were so helpful, stocked fridge, travel kettle with a choice of hot drinks in each bedroom. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Also the softest towels I’ve ever felt in my life.
