Amazing, secluded butique hotel, fantastic and helpful staff, spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, tasty food, beatiful beach. We will definately choose this one again if we are in Watamu in the future.

The hotel is located in one of the best beaches in Watamu and facilities are great. However, my friends and I think the hotel is overpriced and overrated by the services it provides. A few examples we experienced: - On our first day, the waiter rushed us to make our order at the restaurant because the kitchen was about to close. We mentioned we needed a bit more of time to go through the menu and his reaction was too rough. When we asked with to leave extra cutlery on the table because our friend was about to arrive, he was way too impolite. We understand that staff should not be working 12h a day, and this is a management issue, but as guests we expect to be treated politely. That’s why we travel for. - My friend was approached by 5 different staff asking her to cover her body during breakfast. We were by the pool and she was wearing a swimming wear, while there was a shirtless man on the same area that was not bothered by the same reason. - Staff approached us one day before our check out day to ask us the time we’d leave, nothing was mentioned about if we’d need help with luggage or taxi. - No on helped me to take my luggage from the apartment for the check out. I carried my suitcase all the way to the taxi while staff kept looking at me doing everything on my own.

Pretty much everything was excellent - the location is incredible, rooms are perfect, design & layout outstanding, staff very competent & friendly, just a top package - we'll definitely be back.
