Guests are welcome to bring their own.Please expect more detailed instructions to follow by email within 1 day of your booking regarding arrangements for the boat service to Wasini Island (KES 350pp/$3pp between check-in/out times) as well as other issues requiring your feedback.Electricity for lights, phones, and cameras is provided 24/7 by solar installation. Laptops, water heaters and other high-energy consumption devices exceed, however, its capacity is limited.To access the internet with your smart phone or tablet, best procure yourself a Safaricom SIM card from a Safaricom Shop in one of the larger mainland towns (e.g. Diani Beach) as there is no WiFi in the property.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

For something unique and incredibly special, this place is it! Professional, well-spoken, very helpful host, Ismail will meet you at the boat and welcome you to a lovely cottage in the bush. Easy transfer with beautiful scenery. Cottage is clean, everything is taken care of, you sleep to the sound of waves and nature. It is safe and you can do a walking tour to see the friendly, local village. Healthy, fresh meals of big portions are served at the dining area up between the trees. An unforgettable experience on the small island of Wasini for those who like to go off the beaten path and experience authentic bush/beach life. Ismail will also help you book your tour to the National Park, he was extremely helpful every step of the way and made sure I was happy with everything. Unbeatable service. Thank you to the owner and hosts who welcome visitors to experience your beautiful piece of Earth and showing great Swahili hospitality. What a blessing to be so close to God՝s creation.

Lovely location beautiful views surrounded by nature, birds and monkeys. Very welcoming owner. Enjoyable boat ride to the island. Nice food.

We especially loved the peaceful, secluded setting of Blue Monkey Beach Cottage, surrounded by nature and with breathtaking ocean views. The cottage had a rustic, authentic charm that made us feel connected to the island, while still being cozy and comfortable. Ismael was an incredible host—he arranged fresh, delicious seafood meals, organized boat trips and snorkeling, and was always there to help with anything we needed. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel completely at home. It was the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and experience the beauty of Wasini Island.
