The house is absolutely beautiful, incredibly well equipped and the the host was accommodating and friendly. So much attention to detail on every floor and you can tell that Francis takes great pride in his property. We were lucky to have a beautiful weekend where we could sit in the well tending garden and enjoy the sun. The fact that there was seating in every nook and cranny to make the most of where ever the sun happened to be, was amazingly well thought out. Highly Recommend!

The Hideaway was very clean and well equipped for a weekend stay. Francis was a great host and kindly greeted us on arrival. The location was also fantastic for exploring the Purbeck area.

The property details, two parking spaces and location were the reasons we chose the property. It more than lived up to expectations: exceptionally well presented and equipped, suited our needs exactly. The “joining instructions” were really clear and detailed - not called the Hideaway for nothing - but we had no difficulty finding the house. Francis made us feel really welcome and the house details/information pack brilliantly covers all the essentials and loads of local information is also available, along with reading material, games etc. We expected a characterful property and it is. Wareham is a lovely spot and an excellent base to explore this part of Dorset. There are a variety of tea shops/pubs/restaurants/takeaways…
