Breakfast was very good, staff acted promptly to a problem and resolved it, location in a nice town good. The staff were friendly and efficient. It is a very old building and I expect some think it is haunted, I did when the kettle turned it self on and then off a few minutes later, this was repeated so I turned it off at the socket, later when I went to fill it I found that calcium deposits that had been on the element were in the bottom of the kettle, once washed out and filled the kettle worked fine. The cause was the kettle had been left empty and plugged in and something I had put on the table had touched the switch it had the been going on an off for a time but as it has a built in safety when the element became too hot the safety switch acted as it should good to know it is safe but fooled me for a time Bob was the guest

We booked as passing through the area on the way home. I needed a rest instead of long drive home with 2 young children. Everything was clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was provided
