Great 2 night stay at Hill Farm Retreat, accommodation lodge high spec, more than enough room for two people. Hot tub providing that extra special treat. Would definitely recommend, nice and close if wishing to visit Southwold.

Amazing stay , we had the best time , everything is to top speck and the bed was the comfiest we have ever slept on. Brilliant amenities we loved the hot tub and great pubs close by . so clean and so well kept. Melanie was so welcoming and very helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Hill Farm Retreat was absolutely gorgeous! I went for my birthday and the room was set up with balloons and flowers and prosecco on arrival, it was such a lovely touch. It was in a really lovely location, so quiet but not too far from the town! Private hot tub was amazing & Melanie (owner) met us on arrival and was lovely! Felt super relaxed and at home there & would highly recommend!! Great for couples x

My Partner and I stayed at Hill Farm Retreat at the beginning of March for 4 nights. Hill Farm retreat is a short drive away from several towns including Southwold, where we visited several times. The site and cabins were clean, well kept and came stocked with amenities. The communal area has a log burner, BBQ area, Bar and Sauna – Logs are provided for the log burner, but you will need to bring your own coal for the BBQ if you wish to use it. We stayed in the new ‘Hare’ Cabin and were very impressed by how much fits in the cabin while still having room to get around. The kitchen was clean and stocked with cleaning products, cutlery and cooking equipment. These is no extractor fan for the induction hob but there is a sky light above the cooking area, which when open, provides more than enough ventilation while cooking. The kitchen space is limited, however is more than enough to prepare and cook food during our short stay. The host provided bread, tea, sugar, milk and even prosecco for our stay which was a very lovely touch. The bed was very comfy with side tables and plenty of lights and sockets. The ‘Hare’ cabin is set out to be wheelchair friendly. When speaking to the owner, they explained they had ramps and a change in indoor furniture that they put in when a wheelchair user is staying and expressed they were looking into a hoist for the use of the hot tub. With this being said, the bathroom is a wet room (making it easier for the less able bodies) however this did lead to a wet floor after the use of the shower as there is no lip between the shower and toilet/basin area. The hot tub area was clean and free of debris, with fairy lights to use later in the evening. Privacy walls are put in place to make sure you are not overlooked with a picnic branch for outside lounging. Overall, we highly recommend Hill Farm Retreat for a short break and will be visiting again with the rest of our family.
