The location was ideal for exploring the area, with so much to see and do. There are many great places to eat close by. The accommodation is superbly set in the countryside with views out to Bamburgh Castle on a clear day. It is full equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

It was lovely and comfortable but also I was doing the flowers for my friends wedding and the outside space and access to water was perfect.

Cottage was very pleasant and the host allowed us to bring our cat with us! He did love the underfloor heating - as we all did! There was a lot of information about local atractions and the cottage was well equipped.

Outlook cottage is superb! The view is to die for. Wake every morning to see sheep and pheasants in the field adjacent to the cottage. Even better, sit in the comfort of the cottage and view the entire scene through the glass patio doors whilst having a morning brew! The bed must be the most comfortable we have ever slept in whilst on holiday. The cottage parking is secure as is the garden around the cottage, perfect for our pooch! The cottage is 10 miles north of Alnwick and about 25 miles to Berwick. Both towns are easy to get to along the A1. Perfect for visiting both Northumberland and the Scottish borders. Rachel is a great host and the communication is brilliant. Thanks Rachel. We loved Outlook cottage and can't wait to go back again.
