Very close to airport and only 20 mins to town by bus perfect location the lady on reception was extremely helpful with getting into town and explaining all that is in Salzburg thank you so much

Our stay at Hotel Himmelreich near Salzburg Airport was absolutely fantastic. The hotel was spotless, modern, and offered stunning mountain views from our balcony. The sauna area was lovely, and the family staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was truly exceptional—one of the best we’ve had. For dinner, we went to a restaurant just across the road, which the hotel kindly arranged for us, and it was equally excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the hotel made it extra special by upgrading us to a beautiful room—although, to be honest, all the rooms looked amazing. The location was also perfect, just a five-minute walk to the airport. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and would absolutely love to return, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

Charming place run by a family just near the airport with scenic mountain views, but you don't really hear any traffic or planes! The staff are very helpful, breakfast was nice with a good variety of sweet and savoury food, and we were pleasantly surprised to have a guest mobility ticket to use around Salzburg.
